Kazakhstan is the largest landlocked country in the world, located in the heart of Central Asia. Known for its diverse landscapes, it offers endless adventures – from snow-capped mountains and rolling steppes to pristine lakes and deserts. Its cities blend modern architecture with historical charm, reflecting a unique cultural heritage influenced by nomadic traditions.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival, Almaty City Tour & Almarasan Gorge Excursion 

Arrive at Almaty International Airport and transfer to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. After breakfast, begin your city tour with a visit to the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, a memorial honoring World War II heroes, followed by the beautiful wooden Ascension Cathedral.

Continue to the vibrant Old Green Bazaar, where you can explore local produce, spices, and traditional Kazakh goods. Visit the Rakhat Chocolate Factory Shop to sample and purchase authentic Kazakh chocolates.

In the afternoon, head to Ile Alatau National Park for a scenic excursion to Almarasan Gorge. Take a short hike to the natural hot springs known for their healing properties and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Then visit the Ayusai Center and hike to the tranquil Ayusai Waterfall, surrounded by stunning nature.
On the return journey, stop by First President’s Park to stroll through its landscaped gardens and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. Finish the day with dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Almaty.


Day 2: Charyn Canyon & Kolsai Lake  

After breakfast, depart from your hotel for a scenic drive to the breathtaking Charyn Red Canyon, known for its striking rock formations and the famous "Valley of Castles." Enjoy walking and photography opportunities amid this spectacular natural landscape. 

Next, continue to Kolsai Lake, an alpine gem nestled in the Tian Shan Mountains. Take in the serene beauty of the lake and its surroundings, with time to relax and enjoy lunch at a local cafe.

In the evening, return to Almaty for dinner at a local restaurant or café before retiring to your

hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Shymbulak Ski Resort & Kok-Tobe Park 

After breakfast, transfer to the renowned Shymbulak Ski Resort. Take a cable car ride up to 3,200 meters to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Spend time exploring the resort, soaking in the fresh mountain air, and capturing stunning photographs. 

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or café at Shymbulak or en route back to the city. Later, visit Kok-Tobe Park, a scenic mountain park offering panoramic views of Almaty. Here, you can explore various attractions including a thrilling fast coaster (optional), a Ferris wheel with spectacular sights (optional), a mini zoo featuring local and exotic animals, and souvenir shops.

Take a leisurely stroll through the park before enjoying dinner at a nearby restaurant. Afterward, transfer back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 4: Departure 

Check out from your hotel and transfer to Almaty International Airport for your onward departure. We wish you a safe journey and look forward to welcoming you again.
